A warm welcome to the discussion event
For the Right to Work: A panel discussion on organizing migrant work.
During this event, audiences can partake in a live radio transmission discussion about migrant workers' struggle for rights and better working conditions through organizing.
Guests on the panel are:
Marius and Robert from Metro Workers United, a group of workers mainly from Eastern Europe who have organized themselves during the construction work in the Copenhagen Metro.
Therese who has been involved in the organizing of Au Pairs in Denmark as a counselor in Au Pair Network and has herself worked as an Au Pair in Denmark in 2008. She holds an MA in International Migration and Ethnic Relations from Aalborg University and is now doing a project on domestic violence towards ethnic minorities and Au Pair workers.
The event is organized by the transnational radio collective The Bridge Radio and accompanies the collective's solo exhibition Economy of Migrant Labor – for the Right to Work on view in CAMP from January 19 – May 19, 2018.

The panel discussion is followed by community dinner with the Trampoline House community from 6–7 pm and dance party with DJs from Trampoline House from 7 pm–12 am.
The event is conducted in English (with simultaneous interpretation to Farsi and Arabic).
All are welcome. Free admission. Dinner DKK 25 – free for people seeking asylum.
