❤️ THANKS TO ALL THE PEOPLE who celebrated the release of the recollective publication CAMP status! Seven Years of Engaging Art on Migration Politics with us last Sunday and said farewell to CAMP, which officially closed on October 1.
It was a beautiful day with touching presentations by Shakira Kasigwa Mukamusoni, Nermin Durakovic, Dady de Maximo, and Jean Claude Mangomba as well as a thoughtful keynote by Sabine Dahl Nielsen and Anne Ring Petersen. You can hear or re-hear the presentations in two online videos. Click here to watch part 1 and part 2.
In addition to the CAMP status! publication, we will keep CAMP’s website live, which constitutes an important archive for anyone interested in art and curating that engage migration politics. Here you can watch video tours of all the center’s exhibitions, listen to audio recordings of held events, download exhibition catalogs, and read features and reviews.
We would like to end by thanking all those who have made CAMP possible:
the artists and speakers
the writers and performers
the volunteers and interns
our staff and board members
the foundations, sponsors, and private donors
– and, of course, all the many engaged audiences from near and far.
Till next time!
❤️ Frederikke, Tone, Anders
